Speedy Calvert is the owner of Winston Furniture Company in Louisville. He has been married to the former Jamie Adcock for the past 29 years. Jamie is a graduate of East Central Community College and the University of Mississippi Medical Center School Of Nursing. She has been employed in both the Philadelphia and Neshoba County School districts for the past 12 years. Jamie and Speedy are the parents of two sons, Nathan and Lucas, both of whom attended and graduated with honors from Neshoba Central High School and then both attended East Central Community College before pursuing degrees at Mississippi State University. Speedy is a 1974 graduate of Louisville High School, attended East Central Community College and is a 1978 graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi. Calvert is a strong advocate of second amendment rights and is an avid outdoorsman. He is an active member of the National Rifle Association, National Wild Turkey Federation, Ducks Unlimited and several other similar organizations. A community leader, Speedy has been named both Man of the Year and Retailer of the Year in his community, and has served as past president of his local Chamber of Commerce, Kiwanis Club, Youth Association, Businessman’s Club, and East Central Community College Alumni Association. Calvert and his wife attend First Baptist Church of Philadelphia and are active in community affairs in both Philadelphia and Louisville.
