The inductees were honored at the School of Education Awards Day Banquet on Friday, May 8.

DeSoto Supt. Milton Kuykendall said in a statement before Tuesday’s House vote: “200,000 people signed a petition to get Amendment 42 on the ballot. We believe we should let the will of the people decide the outcome and the Legislature should not try to confuse voters with an alternative amendment.”
