“We worked long and hard to develop a revenue source for years that the city has needed as a cash fund account for use on improvements," Ward 6 Councilman Lonnie Falgout said Friday. "The city council has sold assets to create this cash flow. We are going to be greatly depleting this reserve fund to satisfy our DOJ requirements because the cash is no longer there. This is not right. This is not the taxpayers' problem.”
