In May 2000, I started working full time in the Lee County Chancery Clerk’s office.  Fortunately, a position opened for a Deputy Clerk to handle delinquent taxes. Excitedly, I took the job, since this was my favorite part of the clerk’s office. I knew the job was a very intricate job, and I was up for the challenge.  Over the years, I have developed ways to make the process of collecting and researching taxes much easier. Due to its efficiency, surrounding counties have also implemented this system.
