I, Gilman DeWayne Warren, am announcing my candidacy as a Republican for The Mississippi State Senate District 32. I am conservative, Pro Life, believe in traditional marriage, and am a supporter of public education.

Jackson is unopposed in the Democratic primary, but in November will face either Gilman Dewayne Warren or Don Wiggins, who are both running as Republicans. Evans has only one opponent, as Clark Adams is challenging him in the Democratic primary.

Gilma Dewayne Warren is a graduate of Mississippi State University and Memphis Theological Seminary and attended East Mississippi Community College and The University of West Alabama. Warren served as Pastor of the Cleveland Charge Methodist Churches. He is an Ordained Methodist Elder/Pastor. He, along with his wife Carol Warren, is a small business owner. He has 14 1/2 years as a Methodist Pastor.
Warren spent 17 ½ years in the United States Army Reserve and the Mississippi Army National Guard and is a veteran of the Iraq War, and Operations Desert Shield/ Desert Storm. He has 25 months of Active Duty Service. He is a Mason and Shriner. He is past President of DeKalb Lions Club, and served 2 years as President of the Meridian District Methodist Clergy, as well as serving in various offices in his lodges.
