Greg Iles (born 1960) is a bestselling American novelist who lives in Mississippi. He has published fourteen novels and one novella, spanning a variety of genres. His books have been translated into more than twenty-five languages and published in more than thirty-five countries worldwide.

The paper is a longtime family-owned business and community mainstay. The current editor and publisher is Birney Imes III.
