The Hancock County Board of Supervisors on Tuesday voted to reappoint former Supervisor Steve Seymour to the Gulf Coast Planning and Development District (SMPD), but not before a tense and divided discussion.
The board voted 3-2 to reappoint Seymour. Supervisors David Yarborough, Greg Shaw, and Darrin "Bo" Ladner cast "yes" votes. Supervisors Blaine Lafontaine and Scotty Adam cast "no" votes.
